Painting with Clive

Painting is hard. I haven't been blessed with a natural talent. I found Clive5Art on YouTube, he is the new Bob Ross! I will try his lessons once in a while to see if they help me improve. He has a playlist called Easy First Projects. We'll see.

Here's my fisrt one.

Inspired by Aaron's Mixed Media Canvas (Imperfect Impulses) I like how it turned out.

I also did a collage page in pink and yellow.

Here are some pages done in my art journal in January. Made with Pébéo products during a mixed media class at Scrapbook Centrale.

I also made some collage pages.

 

And tried Dyan Reaveley's block technique.

Watercolour cards

A few cards made with watercolour backgrounds.

 

Four mixed media 5x7 canvas

During the Christmas holidays, I made 4 small 5x7 mixed media canvas for my office.

She is made with a watercolour background and a Suzi Blu stamp from Stampavie.

Fun with lots of layers and colours. Butterflies made with Huey's masks from Studio Calico. The technique is inspired by the lovely Mimi Bondi, check her out.

Inspired by our very our artiste extraordinaire CeeCee from CreationsCeeCee. Love this Montréal artist.

I love how the colours pop against the black. A quick and easy project, comme je les aime !



Canvases for Phil's room

I printed his favorite CD covers and glued them to canvases I painted. A very simple project but with lots of visual interests. There is room on the wall for a third canvas in the future.
